Taking advantage of the columns that support Plaza Saint-Hubert's iconic marquee, PXP developed a system of two-height "standing bars" that provide resting points along the street, adding both color and functionality to the commercial street.

Colorful Pauses

In the spring of 2024, PXP installed around twenty dual-height tabletops between Bellechasse and Jean-Talon streets. These small-scale interventions, installed throughout the Plaza, serve as rest stops and gathering points along the commercial artery.
With their compact dimensions, the tabletops do not obstruct circulation pathways. Their two-tone color scheme punctuates the pedestrian space.

Minimal Interventions
The small tables are composed of two identical pieces, simply inverted, and anchored to the Plaza’s marquee support columns. This design leverages an ultra-simple geometry and an equally straightforward assembly system.
