Our contribution to the interactive experience of Cité Mémoire took form as cartographic markers spread out across Old Montréal. Functioning as visual landmarks throughout a circuit of projections, the markers guide visitors and tourists in their discovery of Montréal’s heritage.
Visual markers to guide exploration
Dual purpose
In addition to pinpointing the precise location of the nocturnal scenes, the map also makes it easy to identify the sites and heritage buildings depicted in the illustrations. The markers quickly outgrew their original purpose. They became tools to help tourists explore Old Montréal and its attractions.
